I love this book so much! It started exactly where The Queens Rising ended which was really cool, and it was such a fun and amazing read! The writing is just soo good you get sucked into the story. This time there is a double POV of Brienna and Cartier, and it made me love Cartier even more! He does have a few flaws after all but he’s very awesome. But honestly it’s a relief that the characters are very grown up, not angsting about their crush but actually focussing on the important matters at hand and there is PLANNING for once. And scheming. I love scheming! There are also new characters introduced and there are many hard choices where there honestly is no right answer and all in all I absolutely loved it! Keep an eye on this author!
